Pojęcie narodu, chociaż uregulowane prawnie, ma charakter subiektywny i w istocie dotyczy sfery prywatnej człowieka. Tymczasem zasada samostanowienia narodów, ukształtowana w danym momencie historycznym, stała się czynnikiem kształtującym późniejsze procesu narodowotwórcze oraz „inżynierie narodowe”, które powołując się na nią, budowały nowe typy społeczności mające uzasadniać utworzenie państw. Jako że zagadnienia te znajdują się na granicy nauk politycznych, prawnych oraz społecznych, w niniejszej pracy zastosowane będzie podejście zarówno socjologiczne, prawnomiędzynarodowe, jak i systemowe w analizowaniu fenomenu pojęcia narodu oraz zasady samostanowienia narodów. This article aims to present the role and importance of youth policy and how youth organisations ... more This article aims to present the role and importance of youth policy and how youth organisations can practically implement it on a local and regional level, on the example of Association Europe4Youth (Kraków, Poland). Since youth work is not recognised formally as a profession, nor a function in Poland, those are non-governmental organisations that have enough space and freedom to explore various practices of youth work and advocate for youth policies, while collaborating with local, regional and national authorities.
