인도네시아는 동서로 약 5,000km 이상의 거리에 1만 7천개 이상의 섬을 보유하고 있는 세계 최대의 섬나라이다. 이런 지리적 특징으로 인한 글로벌 해양허브의 잠재성과 국내... more 인도네시아는 동서로 약 5,000km 이상의 거리에 1만 7천개 이상의 섬을 보유하고 있는 세계 최대의 섬나라이다. 이런 지리적 특징으로 인한 글로벌 해양허브의 잠재성과 국내소비수준의 급격한 증가로 인해 인도네시아는 최근 해외 투자자들로부터 지속적인 관심을 받고 있다. 또한, 인도네시아는 풍부한 해안선과 광대한 지리적 여건 때문에 대기업보다는 중소기업들이 사회 및 경제 분야에서 중추적인 역할을 하고 있다. 위와 같은 특징 때문에 인도네시아는 한국을 포함한 많은 선진국가로부터 세계에서 가장 수익성있는 투자처로 인식되고 있다. 그러나, 투자자들의 적극적인 관심에도 불구하고, 인도네시아는 국제교역에서 이점을 제대로 살리지 못하고 있다. 즉, 절대적으로 부족한 물류인프라가 인도네시아의 성장과 지속적인 발전에 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 인도네시아 경제를 대부분의 중소기업이 뒷받침하고 있다는 것에 착안하여 인도네시아 물류현황을 중소기업관점에서 살펴본 후 인도네시아에 진출하려는 한국기업에 시사점을 주기 위해 연구되었다. 연구결과, 인도네시아는 의심할 여지없이 한국기업에게 거대한 기회의 시장으로 밝혀졌으며, 투자를 성공적으로 이끌기 위해서는 인도네시아 교유의 물류적 특징을 세심하게 고려할 필요가 있음이 밝혀졌다.

The current research has been conducted to evaluate the impact of social media strategies across the global halal industry. For this purpose, qualitative data collection via secondary research through systematic review via Prisma analysis has been undertaken. The research findings highlight the importance of social media marketing strategies in increasing customer engagement, competencies, growth, and competitive advantage. It also speaks of challenges of such strategies which need to be overcome for ensuring sustainable business operations.

However, translating public participation to financial growth has its challenges. Thus, the present research explored the effectiveness of social media marketing in engaging consumers and the challenges associated with this. The research focused on the food retail market in Indonesia as it presents a diversified retail pattern with a simultaneous increase in internet use and consumption of social media. A mixed methods research approach was adopted and the quantitative component helped identify the relevant factors perceived by customers that profoundly impact the effectiveness of social media marketing. tele.ring is a mobile phone organization selling contracts and cell phones in the Austrian market... more tele.ring is a mobile phone organization selling contracts and cell phones in the Austrian market. The market situation in 2005 was highly competitive and dynamic resulting in relatively short tariff life cycles. Excessively long lead times made tele.ring's management feel dissatisfied with their new tariff development process. Furthermore, a new competitor had entered the market posing a major threat and it was unclear how to effectively safeguard tele.ring's position in the market. In cooperation with the management, we implemented and tested a new segmentation, targeting and positioning tool, which provides managers with information on their target markets, customer preferences, competitors' strengths, and customer segments. It allows for the simultaneous visualization of this data on a single map and facilitates timely and accurate decision making. In particular, we report on the design and the implementation of a new pricing scheme, "Formel 10", which became the most successful new tariff introduction in this competitive market. tele.ring's managers were very much impressed with our tool's ability to represent the market on a single map and with its capacity to allow for intuitive interpretation.
