Most programs include a practicum (applied project) – a practical section of a course of study, which is sometimes similar to an unpaid internship. According to Israeli law, international students holding a student visa are not allowed to work in Israel during their studies.
While study schedules may vary from program to program, most programs consist of a minimum of 2 days a week study-schedule on campus.
The academic year is usually divided to three consecutive semesters – Fall, Spring and Summer, with exams in-between. For MBA students the layout consists of five consecutive study periods.
All of our international Master’s programs are taught in English.
Most of the Master’s programs at UHaifa international are non-thesis programs and can be completed in just one year. Few programs are thesis track oriented, and require an additional study period and stay in Israel.
While most of our Masters programs at UHaifa International are non-thesis programs, you may request an additional year to work on your thesis, should your program offer this possibility.
Depending on your specific program, most programs will not charge additional tuition fee for the thesis writing.
Hebrew Language courses take place during the summer semester, while all Master’s programs begin in the fall semester, with some also offering Spring term admissions.
Unless in case of a national security or other situation which requires remote learning, most international master’s degree programs are taught face-to-face on campus.
Most of our International Master’s programs combine theoretical knowledge and academic research with a hands-on approach, incorporating practical tools that provide students with a competitive advantage in the job market. Depending on your program and your personal preference, you will be able to pursue either a professional or academic career. Our Master’s Degree study classes are relatively small consisting of approximately up to 20 students. This may vary depending on your program.
