Which languages can I study at the University of Haifa?

The International School offers intensive and semester-long programs in Hebrew.

Are the programs accredited?

Yes. Students receive academic credits upon successful completion. A semester course is worth 6 credits, while intensive summer or winter programs usually grant 5 credits.

Do I need to be a full-time student to apply?

No. You can apply as a part time student specifically for the language courses.

 

I am a complete beginner. Can I still join?

Absolutely! We offer classes for all levels, from Beginners to Advanced.

How do I know which level is right for me?

After completing your application, you will take an online placement exam. This ensures you are placed in a class that matches your current proficiency.

Are there scholarships available?

Can I live on campus during my language studies?

On-campus housing is available during the Summer and Winter programs.

Is there a Masa scholarship for the Language Programs?

Yes. A Masa-funded scholarship is available for eligible participants for the Summer Intensive program.
