What is the Gap Program?

The Gap Program is designed for high school graduates (18+) who want to experience life in Israel, gain academic credits, and grow personally before heading to college. It offers a mix of high-level academics, volunteering, and cultural immersion.

How long is the program?

You can join us for a Gap Semester or a full Gap Year.

What will I study?

You can choose from a wide range of undergraduate courses fully taught in English.

 

Is the program accredited?

Yes. All courses are academically accredited and meet the standards of North American and European universities.

Is there an age requirement?

You must be a high school graduate and over 18 years old.

Is there a scholarship available for the Gap Program?
arrow

Yes. A Masa-funded scholarship is available for eligible participants.

Where do Gap students live?
arrow

Students typically live in the university’s on-campus dormitories.

Can I join a Hebrew Course?
arrow

Yes. You can join a Hebrew Course as part of your program.

Are there trips included?
arrow

Yes! The program includes an extensive schedule of social activities, including guided trips to the Galilee, Golan Heights, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and Tel Aviv.
