The Author reflects on the practical exercise of creating a space that moves between the scenic d... more The Author reflects on the practical exercise of creating a space that moves between the scenic dimension and the art installation, starting from the account of the Brazilian writer Murilo Rubião, O ex-magician from tabhota Minhota. During the reading of the text the Author produces drawings, découpages, search of images and croques/project, analyzing the contents. The methodology is the same used by a scenographer in creating a scenic space, as effective as creating and executing exercise, as the future installation for performance performance is explicit.

Os fotogramas permitem apresentar o objeto que, efemero, nao e visto no presente: atores, figurinos, maquiagem, espaco e cenografia do espetaculo ressurgem, visiveis e palpaveis, aos olhos. A analise aprofundada das imagens de uma peca, juntamente com o estudo sobre a forma de conduzir o olhar sobre essas, mostra-se um caminho proveitoso para o estudo, a reflexao critica e o ensino dos elementos constituintes da cena.
The work is an analysis of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet production by theater group Gal... more The work is an analysis of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet production by theater group Galpão (MG) directed by Gabriel Villela. Taken into consideration the set design and scenic space, the work carries out an investigation of the relations among the scenic elements as well as between the scenic space and the acting -the way in which the choice of some scenic elements interfere in the actors' game, in the building up of the scene and characters as well as in the interaction with the audience. Starting out from a decomposition of the production, through the selection and analysis of photographs of the group's presentations, the work seeks to investigate the different references used in the set design of the production and the way in which the solutions used by the group, by the director/set designer Gabriel Villela and by those derived from Shakespeare's text interact in the creation of the scenic space.
