Inspired by our Catholic, Marianist traditions, the University of Dayton educates the whole person: mind, body and spirit. Here, you’ll learn beyond the classroom. You’ll build relationships, explore your interests, enhance your skills and confidence, and make a positive impact on the world around you.
Community
If there’s one word to describe life at UD, it’s community. Inspired by our Catholic, Marianist values, campus is a place where we help each other, seek to understand one another, have fun together and collectively work for the common good.
You’ll have high-impact, meaningful hands-on learning opportunities — including internships, research and more. These experiences will help you gain the real-world skills and knowledge you need for a successful future.
You’ll have a dedicated, holistic advisor who can help guide you throughout your journey. You’ll also be supported by an entire Flight Crew dedicated to helping you succeed academically, build connections and community, and enhance your physical and mental health.
Our approach to tuition is based on total transparency. You’ll get a personalized four-year overview of costs — and there are no hidden fees. All students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship when applying to UD, and textbook scholarships are also available.
As a Catholic, Marianist institution, we educate the whole person: mind, body, heart and spirit. Our values shape our bold approach to education and unyielding commitment to student success.
