UConn Huskies Fans

The football team beat Akron, though obviously the real fun begins with the big east schedule kicking into high gear, though Virginia could be tough. UConn picked up numerous votes in the top 25 voting but is still on the outside looking in, though they're sharing that distinction with some of the biggest programs in the history of the sport.
UConn Volleyball swept West Virginia on Saturday 3-0, but was beaten by PITT 3-0 on sunday. However, it was a very close match, razor thin, and PITT just barely pulled it out. I was there for both matches, they were quite exciting.
Men's Soccer played Syracuse, and though the score was 1-0, it was kinda obvious who was winning the game throughout. I was there for most of the first half, and the Huskies were on the attack pretty much the entire time. Also on the attack was the cheering section who are innovators of heckling. I'm not much of a heckler myself but I tip my cap to the rowdy fans behind the goal. You guys are hilarious and you definitely are a fixture of the environment.
If you haven't seen a UConn soccer game, check one out. I was not at the Women's game due to being at the V-Ball game, but they also won. Kudos!
And more sports are on the verge of starting too. |
