Études Phénoménologiques / Phenomenological Studies is the continuation of the journal Études Phénoménologiques, which was published until 2008. The present journal follows the same spirit of openness to various perspectives. Its publication is the result of a collaboration between the Centre d’Études phénoménologiques at the Université catholique de Louvain and the Department of Philosophy at Marquette University. It is published by Peeters and edited by Danielle Lories and Pol Vandevelde.
In the context of the recent translation into French of some of Heidegger early lessons (GA 60 in 2011, GA 63 in 2012, GA 59 in 2014, GA 56/57 forthcoming), the Catholic University of Louvain (CEP), the Free University of Brussels (LPH) and the University of Liège (URPh) jointly organise a research conference on “The Fundamental Concepts of Heidegger’s Hermeneutics of Facticity”, September 22-23, 2016.
Le souci est sans conteste l’un des philosophèmes les plus importants et les plus marquants d’Être et temps. L’économie interne du livre suffit à éclairer comment, dans le sixième chapitre, il s’impose progressivement comme l’être — total — du Dasein. Elle ne permet cependant pas de faire toute la lumière sur ce que nous appelons ici l’«histoire existentiale» du souci, c’est-à-dire la suite de «grands hommes» qui disent en avoir fait l’épreuve avant d’essayer de la verbaliser. Partant de quelques lignes du § 42 considérées par beaucoup comme marginales, cette étude s’efforce de retracer les sources religieuses du souci dans les productions du jeune Heidegger et s’emploie à montrer, au risque de critiquer l’articulation explicite du souci propre à Être et temps, qu’elles seules peuvent garantir jusqu’au bout l’opérativité de cette notion.
