Environmental issues are a serious concern for global stakeholders and policymakers in various co... more Environmental issues are a serious concern for global stakeholders and policymakers in various countries. This study reveals the leadership practices of vocational schools in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in developing pedagogical approaches based on social entrepreneurship. This practice aims to increase awareness of environmental friendliness for educators and students as one of the residents' leading social problems in their sub-districts. The main objective of this research is to find out how vocational school develops social entrepreneurship in a teaching factory that considers environmental aspects, local vocational education, and interconnection with the business sector in their learning processes. The research strategy uses case studies with data collection in participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that the vocational school development project, which focuses on environmentally friendly creative economic activities through environmentally friendly paper bags, encourages multi-sector collaboration to overcome waste problems, especially plastic waste.

Cangkudu Village is located in Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, and has bee... more Cangkudu Village is located in Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, and has been a partner of Bina Nusantara (Binus) University since 2017. The previous study showed that Cangkudu Village has succeed in organizational transformation because the role of Cangkudu Village Head chosen in 2013. The purpose of this study is to explore the Cangkudu Village into a pilot project as village with digital economy as Corporate Social Responsibility of Binus by comparing digital economies that have been supported in India, Kenya and France. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data sources obtained through interviews, observation and literature study. The results of the study mentioned that the five pillars needed in Cangkudu Village were the Digital Government; Digital Business; Infrastructure; Entrepreneurship Based on Innovation and Digital Skills and Values. While in Cangkudu village itself there were still stunting babies and for Tangerang Regency there were still found village in corruption due to the still limited human resources in Tangerang. Therefore Cangkudu Village needs to be fostered in the public information space and provide the application of System Information of Financial at the the village office can improve the structure of economic growth and changes in social strata in Indonesia.

The purpose of this study is to describe how the children exploring of traditional music in tourism web. The method of research conducted is experiential, interviews and observations that are equipped with literature reviews. The conclusion said that experiential of exploring traditional music on the "Better Go-Now" website by elementary school-age children showed that the five elements of the spectrum offered in the country's tourism destinations are less illustrated through traditional music. The Performance of the "Better Go-Now" website proved that the external appearance has managed to attract the attention of visitors. However, video content posted by the web does not strengthen the brand.

ERP solutions have evolved over the years, and many are now typically web-based applications that... more ERP solutions have evolved over the years, and many are now typically web-based applications that users can access remotely. However, an ERP system can be ineffective if a company doesn't implement it carefully. The focus of this research is to describe how opinions, emotional intelligence situations, motivations and what types of training are applied in the company to make sure the ERP implementation process runs properly. The method used in this study is a survey method by distributing questionnaires, but it is not processed through statistics because it does not intend to test hypotheses. Questionnaires were given to respondents using close ended questions to get answers from respondents. The data collection also through interviews with Chairperson and HRD Manager where the research was conducted. The Result show that the Benefits and Function of ERP are accepted by employees who are supported by their high emotional intelligence. The Chairperson was satisfied with using ERP. Training can provide a change in mindset can provide permanent change and does not require expensive costs for implementation. The conclusion was that the ERP system agreed to support employees work, even though the first time they feel difficult to deal with the system. Coaching on employees that encourage employees can adaptation to the use of ERP. The Training must support the company's beliefs, attitudes, and values.

The study used a Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The population was high school students in Jakarta. The sample was 82 students in XI grade. The results showed the perception of political parties influenced the views of political leadership (0.627). Perceptions of political parties influenced Pancasila’s commitment (0.357). The strongest influence was found to be in political education on the commitment of the Pancasila (0.722). Political education did not influence the views of political leadership (-0.009). This study is describing the social networking application that has been used by international st... more This study is describing the social networking application that has been used by international students both in Indonesia and USA, since the online culture increasingly implemented and becomes a familiar habit amidst the pandemic. It has accelerated to the point of becoming a ubiquitous part of the modern living recently. Living in a new culture enforce people to adjust their behavioral system for their own existence and harmonious life, therefore they will be experienced the culture shock in facing the new way of life due to COVID–19. The aim is to describe how the social networking application becomes a tool in helping people on fighting the culture shock in this pandemic era. In this regard the constructivist paradigm was carried out to describes the phenomenon on Instagram as social network application. The qualitative methods were used to collect data by virtual participant observation and online interviews via Zoom meetings. The results point out to communication through social networking apps becomes a new way to help them understand and keeping up with the new world after COVID-19, for it helped them also fight the culture shock. The people who is familiar with it becomes more ready to face the changes. The conclusion shows whether the pandemic is accelerating innovation in the telecommunication sector, creating new challenges for educators, communication industry, and professionals regarding the social networking applications used.

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of management information systems relates to ... more The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of management information systems relates to international students in Indonesia and the US during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The Management Information Systems touched interpersonal communication between persons equipped with technology. Primary data collection techniques using interviews through the Zoom application revealed that communication through technology was essential during the COVID-19 epidemic. The results of the discussion showed that there was no significant change in management information systems in the learning processes of students in the two countries. One issue that was found, was adjusting to each other's time zones. The student interaction protocol with the campus has followed the rules set by the campus without exception. While some students required assistance with digital technology, the students feel support to use information systems because they already knew the conditions through the campus website that had been prepared.

Dengan mendapatkan kondisi hidup yang sehat, masyarakat dalam beraktivitas secara produktif dan mendapatkan kesejahteraan. Kondisi hidup yang sehat ini ditandai dengan beberapa ciri yaitu ketersediaan air minum yang mencukupi, ketersediaan sanitasi yang memadai dan kondisi lingkungan hidup yang bersih.
Pasal 5 Undang-Undang No 7 Tahun 2004 tentang Sumber Daya Air menyatakan bahwa negara menjamin hak setiap orang untuk mendapatkan air bagi kebutuhan pokok minimal sehari-hari guna memenuhi kehidupannya yang sehat, bersih, dan produktif. Namun, fakta menunjukkan bahwa tidak seluruh kalangan masyarakat mendapatkan akses air bersih ini. Di antara masyarakat yang belum terlayani, masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah di perdesaan dan pinggiran kota termasuk kelompok yang rentan mengakses air minum dan sanitasi yang layak tersebut.
Pada 2015, Pemerintah Indonesia ingin mencapai target no. 7 dari Millenium Development Goals (MDGs). Ini berarti jumlah masyarakat di kota dan desa yang tidak punya akses ke sarana sanitasi dasar berkurang separuh, termasuk meningkatnya akses ke pembuangan air limbah yang aman dan ramah lingkungan. Tujuannya adalah mengurangi angka kemiskinan perkotaan dan perdesaan sebesar 50% serta mengurangi dua-pertiga angka kematian balita.
Untuk mencapai target MDGs tersebut tentu dibutuhkan aktivitas konkret diantaranya penyediaan air minum dan sanitasi bagi masyarakat. Masyarakat merupakan komponen utama dalam suatu komunitas menempati posisi penting dalam pengelolaan sanitasi. Namun sejauh ini partisipasi mereka belum mendapat perhatian yang proporsional dari berbagai pihak.
Buku ini ditulis sebagai materi dasar pelatihan water & sanitation. Harapan kami buku ini dapat menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat mengenai pengetahuan dan skill (hard skill maupun soft skill) mengenai penyediaan air minum dan sanitasi. Di dalamnya mencakup beberapa pokok bahasan yaitu (1) dasar-dasar kesehatan keluarga dan komunitas, (2) penyediaan akses air bersih bagi rumah tangga dan komunitas, (3) penyediaan sanitasi bagi rumah tangga dan komunitas, serta (4) evaluasi infrastruktur yang telah ada dan rencana revitalisasi.
Kami berharap buku ini dapat menambah wawasan baru bagi setiap orang yang membacanya. Kami menyadari bahwa masih terdapat kekurangan dalam penyusunan buku ini, saran dan kritik guna perbaikan akan kami terima dengan senang hati. Namun, fakta menunjukkan bahwa tidak seluruh kalangan masyarakat mendapatkan akses air bersih ini. Di antara masyarakat yang belum terlayani, masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah di perdesaan dan pinggiran kota termasuk kelompok yang rentan mengakses air minum dan sanitasi yang layak tersebut.
