The main objective of the research project is to develop an integrated healthcare information portal which provides access to a variety of HIV/AIDS related information for different users. The system is in a form of a Questions and Answer (Q&A) System where users submit queries to the portal through a mobile phone interface. In this paper, we re-engineer a parsing technique that was proposed in preceding research work; in order to improve the accuracy of the parser and as such enhance the validity of the retrieval process of the overall system. The system is the evaluated using PARSEVAL measures: recall, precision and cross brackets.
