The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of social interaction anxiety on satisfaction w... more The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of social interaction anxiety on satisfaction with life mediated by emotional intelligence. The research design was descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-randomized. In total, 1,164 Mexican physical education students participated (M age = 21.21; SD = 3.26; 30.0% female; 69.6% male; 0.4% other). The scales used were the Social Interaction Anxiety Scale, Trait Meta-Mood Scale and Satisfaction with Life and a structural equation analysis with latent variables was conducted. The results highlight that it can be asserted that emotional clarity and repair had a mediating effect between social interaction anxiety and satisfaction with life, as they did decrease the negative effects of social interaction anxiety on satisfaction with life. In addition, social interaction anxiety had a direct and positive effect on emotional attention and a negative effect on emotional clarity and repair.

The aim of the present study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Questionnaire for ... more The aim of the present study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Questionnaire for Disruptive Behavior in Physical Education (CCD-EF) in the Mexican context. A non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational-causal study was designed in which 378 girls (Mean = 13.99; SD = .30) and 375 boys (Mean = 14.02; SD = .33), all high school students participated. The psychometric properties of the scale were analyzed by means of different exploratory and con rmatory analyses that demonstrate that this instrument with four correlated factors, and as higher order models, is valid, reliable, and invariant as a function of sex. A regression model with latent variables showed a positive and signi cant prediction of boredom with Physical Education on disruptive behaviors, nding that this prediction is higher in boys than in girls. The CCD-EF has proven to be a reliable and valid instrument to use with Mexican high school students.

Se administró a un total de 758 estudiantes de secundaria de 12 a 18 años, analizándose la estructura del instrumento mediante procedimientos confirmatorios. Los análisis apoyan el modelo teórico hipotetizado de origen, presentando los ocho ítems medidas adecuadas de homogeneidad y la escala una aceptable consistencia interna (fiabilidad compuesta =,93; varianza media extraída =,61; alfa de Cronbach =,90) y estabilidad temporal. Los datos de ajuste del modelo fueron excelentes:
The aim of this study was to analyze the degree of prediction to which the goal orientation adopt... more The aim of this study was to analyze the degree of prediction to which the goal orientation adopted by the student and the motivational climate created by the teacher as perceived by students in physical education classes, have on the students' self-determined behaviors. The sample included 846 high school students from the Murcia region (Spain) aged 12-19 years old. The Spanish versions of the Perception of Success Questionnaire, the Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire-2 and the Motivational Climate Scale were the instruments used to collect data. A descriptive, correlated and stepwise multiple regression analysis was carried out following the Self Determination Index. Results show that the majority of students were task oriented, they perceive a task climate and were intrinsically motivated. Moreover, the relevance of the role of the teacher in physical education classes was demonstrated, as the main predictor variable of selfdetermined behavior in students was the motivational climate.
