Paizo Releases New Rules Errata for Starfinder 2e

A new year is upon us, and for tabletop RPG publisher Paizo that means rolling out a series of new rules updates for Starfinder Second Edition. The latest rules errata sees a number of important changes to various ancestries, classes and archetypes, along with some much-needed tweaks to combat and weaponry.

Notably, Starfinder 2e is still relatively new, having been released at the end of July 2025, but these types of errata updates are common as the rules get into the community’s hands and new issues are discovered. Below, we take a closer look at all the changes.

Final Thoughts

Starfinder 2e is a significant upgrade over the previous edition that’s been well received by the community, so it’s great to see Paizo continue to refine the system. It’s likely we’ll see further rules updates in the coming months, but we’ll update this page with those changes as they’re released.

In the meantime, you can see all the changes via the Paizo blog and see past changes in the Starfinder FAQ page.
