Summary: William Beckett. How much did Jon Walker hate William Beckett? He could write an entire novel about how much he hates the name. The face. It only makes sense. The bastard took his mortality away from him. He'd managed to evade the jerk for the past few hundred years, but when they finally come face to face again, Jon isn't concerned about himself at all. It's Brendon he's worried about.

1. "Whatever, just get some sleep before I punch you in the face."
2. The second Brendon was off the ground and running, Jon was doing the same, and at the same moment, they were climbing out their bedroom windows to sit on their roofs that faced each other.
3. “I don’t know, Moon,” Sun had sighed. “It seems to me like you’re blowing things out of proportion. He seems like a nice kit to me.”
4. "Are you camping out here?" Jon said. "Because I'm pretty I'd know if we had a squatter. This place isn't that big."
5. His mouth moved, making awkward shapes that Brendon should probably be able to recognize by now.
6. “Only you.” Jon shrugged. “‘If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.’”
7. “Smith, you might as well give it up,” Kevin said.
8. “I know how hard it is for people who care greatly for money to give some away.”
9. “Don’t speak German to me, you know I don’t like that.”

He'll give her credit for that.

I said I would post the first thing I finished, and that just happens to be this sad attempt at vampirey fiction. It's not done, obviously. This is a prologue. I don't know if I'll write more, I don't know if it will ever be finished. It is something that had captured my interest for the time being and I may spend more time on it. I can't guarantee anything though. Don't get too attached~.
