Although the territory of today's Krupina and its surroundings was already settled before the 12t... more Although the territory of today's Krupina and its surroundings was already settled before the 12th century, the architectural formation of medieval Krupina and thus also the burgher's house, as the basic building and spatial unit of the city, is directly related to the arrival of German colonists on its territory. Around 1238, Krupina was granted privileges and it became a medieval trading town, which was the economic center of the area, which stimulated the subsequent migration of residents to the town and thus the construction of their houses.

Diploma thesis describes Roman sacral architecture in surroundings of Krupina, in the past it was... more Diploma thesis describes Roman sacral architecture in surroundings of Krupina, in the past it was free royal town. It provides us quick overview on sacral objects built from beginning of 12th century until end of 13th century in territory of Hont and Zvolen county. We focused on description of five churches, church of Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Krupina, church of St. Michael the archangel in Dobra Niva, church of St. Matthew the Apostle in Babina, church of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Sása and church of St. Martin in Hontianske Nemce. It monitores architectural changes in regards of historic occasions and based of their common reference to smelter construction which influence for almost for a half a century construction activities of a whole region. Tries to bring more details on impacts in surrounding of minings towns in central Slovakia.

Final thesis describes the beginnings of women's education on the territory of today's Slovakia. ... more Final thesis describes the beginnings of women's education on the territory of today's Slovakia. It is divided into the three chapters, in which we provide a brief overview of the development and form of education of women and girls in a historical cross-section from the 9th to the beginning of the 20th century. It follows the cultural, social, religion, political and historical aspects which influenced the view of the need for education of the female sex. We focused on description of ways, possibilities, and institutions in which a woman could be educated in the past. We also monitor the historical discourse, whether in the press or in the publications of the representatives and philosopher of individual periods and through them reveals a view of the gradually changing and developing phenomenon of women's equal rights and especially their right to education and self-realization suppressed in the history of mankind for many centuries.

Trinity. It is a complex of several buildings that were created and later adapted for fortification and representative purposes from the 13th to the 18th century.

The article maps the origin, development, shape and fate of the fortifications of the town of Krupiny, which never succumbed to the Ottoman troops and protected Central Slovak mining towns.
