Using the annual data set of 28 years from 1995 to 2022, the study employed the OLS Regression model. Macroeconomic variables like Inflation rate, Interest rate, Exchange rate, and Gross Domestic Product were used in this study. The findings suggest that the Nepal stock market is significantly affected by gross domestic product and exchange rate whereas interest is insignificantly negative Nepal stock market. Understanding the way macroeconomic factors affect NEPSE can assist evaluate the state of the economy as a whole and its capacity to provide wealth and prosperity for both venture capitalists and the wide-ranging community.

The study used empirical research methodology using primary sources of information collected using structure questionnaire. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the linear relationship between the personality dimensions and investment decision-making. The personality traits considered for the study are extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness. The study provided empirical evidence that the personality trait of conscientiousness and extroversion have a significant positive influence on the investment decision making process of retail investors. Similar, neuroticism has positive effect on investment decision of investor and statistically significant at 10 percent level of significance. The results of the study could help investors better understand their investment decision-making in terms of the influence of their personality. Financial advisors could also benefit from this study as it would allow them to correlate their clients’ personalities and decision-making tools and suggest the most appropriate investment strategies.

The main purpose of this study is to examine impact of service quality on customer loyalty with the mediating effect of customer satisfaction. In order to collect data for analysis, 154 completely filled online questionnaires were collected. Four stepped method suggested by Baron and Kenny (1986) was used for examination of mediating effect of customer satisfaction. After testing the hypotheses using various techniques, it was found that service quality has significant positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The customer satisfaction partially mediates between service quality and customer loyalty. This research is useful for commercial banks so that they can improve service quality to the customers and thus maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. This paper aims to examine the banks’ specific factors affecting distress risk. Using modified Al... more This paper aims to examine the banks’ specific factors affecting distress risk. Using modified Altnan Z score as measure of distress risk, the study employed secondary data of 18 banks listed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited for the study period from 2008 to 2014. The results show that the liquidity, profitability and size have the significant positive effect on z score indicating lower distress risk of firms. These results support the too big to fail doctrine and provides justification to increment of capital to 8 Arba by Nepal Rastra Bank. The study provides insight into the regulatory body and concerned authority of banks. Managers should make effort in maintaining the liquidity position of the bank and make effective strategy to earn higher profitability to avoid from being financially distressed.
