Careforth
How we crafted a welcoming digital experience for caregivers
The challenge
Careforth is a healthcare management company that uses technology to provide coaching, resources, emotional support and payment to those who care for loved ones. Coming to us with a new name and fresh brand, Careforth wanted a website that could bring this all to life while also simplifying their message. The site needed to be easy to navigate, performant, mobile-friendly and accessible. A simple editor experience was required to make content updates a breeze.
The Solution
We created an aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly website redesigned to provide a seamless and comprehensive experience for caregivers seeking information and assistance when they need it the most.
We combined the power of WordPress with Kadence WP and custom-built WordPress blocks to create a website that sets the bar for this growing industry. The outcome was a flexible and scalable solution for the Careforth team.

Meeting the needs of users
We knew from the first meeting with Careforth how deeply passionate they were about their mission in service to the caregiver community. To truly understand the needs and challenges faced by caregivers, the Modern Tribe team facilitated one on one interviews and focus groups to understand their unique journey as caregivers, uncovering needs and frustrations. These discussions laid the groundwork for every aspect of our project. Every content, design, and technical decision was informed by the insights gained, allowing us to tailor our approach to meet the distinct needs of caregivers.
Designing in parallel with a rebrand
Eager to dive into design and copy to meet a tight launch schedule, the Careforth team was in the midst of refining their messaging strategy and in need of alignment on direction with the broader stakeholder team. To navigate this, the Modern Tribe team facilitated a brand messaging workshop, creating an opportunity for Careforth stakeholders to express their inspirations, aspirations, and visions for the website and content. We then aligned on feature priorities according to Careforth’s timeline. This approach significantly accelerated the design approval process, as stakeholders felt their voices were acknowledged, understanding there was still room for creative exploration and refinement.
Flexibility for editors
The Careforth team had marketing launch dates to meet and the editing experience would need to be flexible and easy-to-use to meet the content demands of a growing organization. The team chose to use Kadence WP and custom-built WordPress blocks to allow for ease of content updates as the brand evolves.

Reaching caregivers on mobile
Reaching your audiences is critical when distinguishing a brand from its competitors. Given Careforth’s mobile-first target audience, it was imperative to deliver a flawless and high-performing mobile experience. Our launch achieved an “A” grade on GT Metrix, marking significant achievements in SEO and accessibility.
