it is really lightweight, slick and simple (and therefore easy customizable)

Download, unzip and upload to your WordPress plugins directory
activate the plugin within you WordPress Administration Backend
Write or edit a post or page and upload images to that page via the editor’s upload form
Make use of [ minislides ] within the page’s content

Note: template template tag is deprecated. No minislides within the sidebar until widget support with the next release.
