The word 'dumbledore' is derived from the Old English word for 'bumblebee'. Apparently JK Rowling envisioned this character as having a lot of nervous energy, his brilliant mind constantly flitting from one idea to the next in the same way a bumblebee flits from one flower to the next. A restless mind, always on the move.

Back to Hogwarts: Spin Master #6071567 Albus Dumbledore Wand & Stand

I managed to pick up the last two of the five wands offered by Spin Master: Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter. Today we'll look at Dumbledore's magic stick 😄, which is of course, the Elder Wand. Unlike those offered by Spirit Halloween and others, these Spin Master wands are slightly shorter with this one measuring 11.75" L (29.84cm). Despite them being a bit shorter, I really like the stands that come with these as they all have a Hogwarts outline emblem as well as a pot metal icon specifically designed for that character. In this case the icon is Dumbledore's Phoenix, 'Fawkes'.

Outer Sleeve

 Inner Box

The inner box has two flaps which fold up revealing the wands owner and a nice graphic of Hogwarts

The parts are layered with the wand sitting in its own cardboard cradle above the stand.

Wand & Stand

As you can see, the stand does not allow for the wand to stand straight up. That could be a deal killer for some, however, there are wand holders one can buy to display your collection of wands instead of using the included stand. Me personally, I like Hogwarts emblem and individual icons that come with these.
