Jakks #71960(CAN) Power City Trains - Batman (2014) Pt 1

This past year or two has seen more Batman-related toys come into the collection than I've seen in some time. I don't know how I came across this Power City Trains set (I think someone mentioned it in one of the fb groups) but anywho I'm glad to have latched onto one. Prior to this I'd never heard of the 'Power City Trains' series by Jakks and once it arrived I was thinking "Where have you been all my life?" 😄 The set itself was made for distribution to Canada and includes everything you need to start your own miniature Gotham City: Batman, building's, a train, accessories, in loosely 1/64-ish scale - perfect for all those Hot Wheels Batmobiles. Speaking of which, the set does not come with a Batmobile so you need to provide your own. The train is undersized being a bit smaller than HO-scale (1/87 scale), but hey, overall, with a little work and the addition of roads, more buildings, and accessories, this could be turned into an awesome Gotham City diorama.

Today we'll look at the set box and instruction manual. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

Jada #31705 1/32 Diecast Batman The Animated Series Batmobile & Batman (2020)

This was the third of our Batmobiles purchased during the lockdown. The animated series Batmobile is one of my favorites because of its sleek, clean, easy to draw for a cartoon lines. Not to mention the colors of the titular character are great - old school comic book type colors!  It measures 5"(12.7cm) L x 1 3/4" (4.44cm) W x 7/8" (2.22cm) H Enjoy! 2015 Mattel Hot Wheels Batman vs Superman Batmobile

It seems my craving for all vehicles Bat-related has been satiated. It's been a couple of years since I posted any Batmobiles and I've even started the l-o-n-g slow process of paring down my collection by giving away a bunch of Batmobiles to friends kids and, most recently, starting to list my Corgi's on eBay (only one listed so far cuz I don't have the time to do any more right now, and I will be keeping some of my favorites). Okay, all that being said, I did pick this up a few weeks back. It's a tie-in to the latest Bat-flick - which BTW I haven't even seen yet - and about 1/50 scale. It looks cool and may just be a keeper - for now. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
