| So, Christmas is getting ever closer. All the lights and the tree have finally been put up (my family likes to procrastinate;)), and other than that, there's not much to to do around the house besides be festive...and relax, of course. I've really been enjoying the relaxation part. It's nice to just be able to play video games or watch sci-fi with my little brother (ah, I've corrupted the little nublet to the dark side) or watch movies with my mom and brother. My mom even tried the Wii again! She likes the snowboarding game we have for it SSX something(I always forget the name of that game). However, it is hilarious watching her try to clear obstacles, throw snowballs, or...well, it is pretty much hilarious any way you look at it! But it is also awesome. I love my mom for trying. The fact that she still lets me and my bro play video games or long hours, let alone buys them for us. Obviously, I come right from a family of geeks, so I really feel right at home.:) So, I watched "Stardust" with my brother and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I think I had read more of the bad reviews, and so I was expecting a really shoddy translation. That was not the case here! So here is my review: ( StardustCollapse ) |

The wife and I went to the video store to rent a movie, and quickly discovered that most of the new release DVDs available were utter shite. So, we decided to pick this up, so I could see and review another comic book movie. This marks my 11th comic book movie review, which is almost enough for its own index! But, we're probably going too index crazy when I'm suggesting sub-indexes for genres (and sub-genres), so we'll just let that idea slide.
