what's on my needles
it's been a minute, but i've been thinking about posts to write and now i have a little time to actualize one. first of all, i won't turn this into a fiber arts blog, or anything dedicated for that matter, but knitting and crocheting has become a pretty important hobby for me. of course it started during quarantine times, it stuck with me and has become a sort of integral part of my life. four of my completed sweaters are part of my wardrobe, socks and hats are gifts to always fall back on, knitting on my 50min commute while listening to music is my meditative routine before and after work. i made a fiber instagram to divide from the main account where i get inspiration and a whole separate community with regular knitting meet-ups. it's neat. my first wip is a top? vest? maybe i'll turn it into a t-shirt, we will see. most importantly this was my first, so far only try of hand-dying yarn. i wanted it to turn into a more even, dark burgundy, but the mysterious alch...
