For … reasons, I fed Claude a bunch of my Internet posting history. In retrospect, much of the worst of it
- Metafilter comments (not so bad)
- Reddit archive (not great)
- Twitter archive (very not great)
I wanted to see how well it could match my overworked, purple prose style. Don’t think I paved any new ground or made something useful outside of one or two well-defined tasks, but the result was illuminating.
This voice favors long, clause-heavy sentences that unspool conversationally with parenthetical asides, punctuated by sharp short sentences or fragments for comedic or emphatic effect.
