Signing: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Join acclaimed author T. Kingfisher, also known as Ursula Vernon, for an engaging discussion about her writing career, creative process, and award-winning work across fantasy, horror, and speculative fiction. Author of more than fifty books, T. Kingfisher has received multiple Hugo, Nebula, Dragon, and Locus awards for her imaginative storytelling and unforgettable characters.

Recommended for ages 10+.

A book signing will follow the author talk. Bring your own book or purchase one at the Friends of the Library table. Free and open to all.

Meet local artists and explore a vibrant showcase of geek-culture-inspired creations! Shop unique finds like prints, buttons, key chains, and comics, and enjoy opportunities for portfolio reviews and signatures.

Cosplay Contest

Show off your cosplay all weekend! Heroes, villains, or unique original characters are all welcome. Take a photo at our photo station and enter for a chance to win gift card prizes, up to $50! For all ages.

Plus, join us Saturday and show off your cosplay as we strut through the Library together in style!

Meet Quirkis

An Oak-tree-inspired dragon, Quirkis is our official T.O. LibCon mascot. Quirkis was designed in 2023 by artist Brooke Regalado and named in a library contest before our inaugural LibCon. The winning submission from Scott Rogers was based on Quercus, the Latin word for “oak tree”.
