Friendship is a topic that is discussed a lot since most men on the journey of self-improvement are lonely.

What is friendship and where do you find new friends?

All of that will be discussed here. First - The definition.
I'm sure the Oxford Dictionary has a detailed definition, but I'll just summarize it to a formula:

Friendship = Proximity + Common Goal/Mission/Objective (+ Trust)

Any type of connection that doesn't involve both factors, isn't considered friendship.

In this thread I'm going to go in depth You probably know what it means on a shallow level, but I'm going to describe exactly how it affects the modern person.

So how does FOMO affect your life?

There are 3 dominant emotions in humans, that all types of marketing target. (Obviously, this is an oversimplification)

1- Fear
2- Greed
3- Sexual Desire

Learn to identify when you're being manipulated, and how you can use it as well.
Could save/make you nice money. Most of the decisions we make are based on Fear/Greed, these are the powers that move markets.
When fear is dominant, the markets go down, when the greed is high and optimism rules - markets are up.

Marketeers know that and use it to manipulate people into giving them money.

Before you decide to sign up for a money-making course, check if the mean who teaches it made his money by actually utilizing his skill, or by selling courses about said skill.

Too many frauds out there with a basic knowledge who label themselves as "experts" and sell this info. I went today to meet with a friend, he's taking one of these courses. We planned to meet just outside of the building where he takes the course.

His teacher seen me and started to convince me into signing up for his course.

I said "sure, lemme see your numbers and I will sign".

Everyone would like to climb up the food chain.
To climb the social status ladder or become richer. That is human nature.

People hang out with people who offer value, or at least - don't subtract value.
In other words - As long as you don't lower my status, we'll hang out.

High-status people don't hang with low-status people, at least not on a regular basis.
Hanging out with low-status people LOWERS their status. That is how it works.

If you look at things objectively - 1 winner friend is preferred over 100 loser friends.

Real talk.

One of the most recurring advice here is "ditch your loser friends".

Here's my story

Up until 18 y/o I was a beta and a loser with ugly loser friends They had no social skills, neither did I.
I attracted some chicks because I looked good, but they ran away very fast after discovering who I hang out with.
"Tell me who's your friend and I'll tell you who you are".

We never went to parties or hit on girls. We would watch movies

Pride is dangerous.

It's very alluring to become an arrogant asshole.
While liberals talk about arrogance with disgust, on this side it's more than welcome. It's actually encouraged.

But it's a dangerous trap to fall into.
You're a human, never forget that. My best friend is a young entrepreneur, not something big, but started great.
He got tons of success early on and made some big $.
Developed "God Complex", he referred to himself as a once in a lifetime genius, top of the human race.

I see it everywhere I go, people trying to befriend and have their boss likes them.
This is a very shitty Office Politics strategy!

Why would people do that?
-If boss likes me, he won't fire me
-Won't give me shit
-More chances for promotion/raise How do they try to achieve that?
By licking his boots, kissing his ass and being a good worker (read:servant)

The boss might trick you into thinking he likes you and become friendly with you.

Many people today ask for help, but never actually prepared to do the work. Sad.

There's one girl I know, she texted me a few weeks ago and told me she broke up with her BF, and men don't hit on her.

Don't let useless whores to use sexual baits on you, unless you fuck them.

Too many men waste their time, throwing on them validation and attention and get nothing in return. How do they bait? There are a couple ways.

1- Directly send you a pic (usually over-revealing one) and ask for attention

2- Take a word/joke you said and give it a sexual reference.

For example :

You: This building stands tall and strong
Her: Just the way I like it 😋

Sometimes when I'm bored, I go on a local sex forum and laugh at the questions. Here are some of them:

"I'm a woman who loves sex, but not with my BF, what's wrong with me?"

"I can't manage to have sex with my wife due to ED, but I function well with my neighbor, what's wrong?" "Found my husband cheating on me with a trans, is he gay? Is it even cheating?"

Know this - not only she doesn't respect you, but she mocks you behind your back with her alpha Chads without spending a penny on her. Guaranteed If you're her boyfriend and she genuinely loves you, then there's nothing wrong with buying her gifts (if you can afford it), but gifts are secondary.
Which means, if you decide you cut on gifts, your relationship won't change a bit

Fitness thread.

Just because some movement works for somebody else, doesn't mean it MUST work for you either.
Too many people are obsessed over Benchpress/Squat/Deadlift.

Due to sedentary lifestyle, we aren't as mobile, our Range of Motion is not natural and optimal, it's limited.

Maximize looks + minimize notch count + don't spend time with losers + learn to cook+ harness youth & beauty & femininity to lock down HV man + have children and raise them properly + have beautiful family+ don't worry about finances = Happy woman. Feminism idea of women success

What is the Fear of Success and how to deal with that?

Had today a zoom chat with @TheFamilyAlpha and the boys.
One of the men has a nice side gig that produces cash for him, a business with some great potential, but the owner decided that he doesn't want it to become "too big" When someone is afraid to go "Big" it usually an indicator of fear of success. It doesn't sound like it makes sense.

Why would someone afraid to be successful?

Mindset issue.
The focus is not on the benefits and profits. It's on the hardship and challenges.

Consuming politics is worse than consuming soy.
People poison their minds without realizing that.

I used to be one of those people who constantly bothered themselves with the latest news and hate the administration on FB.
It got me nowhere. Hate is poisonous, it poisons your soul.
It's also a major stressor, and stress is diabolical (Higher stress levels = Lower T).

I was angry, anxious and a very irritable to be around.
Until I cut news and politics altogether and focused on my life.

Why bother with politics?

Try to avoid talking about your past mistakes and losses.
All you'll be doing is reopening old wounds and re-living the same pain all over again, time after time.

People feel the need to speak about their mistakes, it eases the pain, but you still feel it regardless It's ok to talk about to one-2 friends/family members about your pain, but that should be it.

Many people would tell their pain/worries to everybody who would listen.

What does it mean?
Reality doesn't exist, only your internal representation of reality. It means that the "reality" you live is completely under control, most of it stems from limiting beliefs.
If reality doesn't exist, then most of your limitations do not exist either.
Choose to possess empowering beliefs, because that's how you create the reality you want.

The campaign that drastically changed my life opens its' doors again.
After hitting rock bottom just when I finished my military days (because what does a Vet knows besides war?) those were the 31 days that put my life back on track. Faster and stronger than ever before. I will forever be grateful to @TheFamilyAlpha and the fellow men who marched with me during those days.

If you feel like your life is shit and you don't know where you're going, you might have just found your entry ticket to better life. Life with discipline and masculinity.
