Screenshot

• REQUIRED: Screenshot size should be 1200x900, to account for HiDPI displays. Any 4:3 image size is acceptable, but 1200x900 is preferred. Screenshot is wrong size! Detected: 900x1200px. Maximum allowed size is 1200x900px. Screenshot dimensions are wrong! Ratio of width to height should be 4:3.

Theme Tags

• REQUIRED: Remove deprecated theme tags.
• REQUIRED: Please revisit ​https://make.wordpress.org/themes/handbook/review/required/theme-tags/ and add appropriate theme tags in style.css.

Selling, Themes and Links

• REQUIRED: Theme URI and Author URI invalid. Going to error page.
• Theme URI is optional. If used, it is required to link to a page with information about the Theme. If a demonstration site is being used, the content must be related to the theme itself and not test data.
• Author URI is optional. If used it is required to link to an author’s personal website or project/development website.

• REQUIRED: Escape home_url() with esc_url().
• REQUIRED: When used for attribute like href, value should be escaped. Eg <a href="' . esc_url( get_comments_link() ) . '">

Scripts

• REQUIRED: wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' ); is not allowed.
• REQUIRED: When minified scripts or styles are used, you need to bundle unminified versions also. Eg bootstrap.min.css

Prefixing

Language / Translation

• REQUIRED: Several strings are there which are not translation ready. Please check thoroughly. You can use Pig Latin plugin to check.

• REQUIRED: Remove function blogga_remove_wp_version_strings(), blogga_remove_meta_version()

Code

• REQUIRED: add_theme_support() call should be inside function hooked to after_setup_theme.
• REQUIRED: the_modified_date() function does not return value. It directly displays the output.
• REQUIRED: wp_link_pages() is needed after every the_content() call.

Using WordPress Functions if available

• REQUIRED: Use the_posts_navigation() or the_posts_pagination() in archive templates.

License / Credits

• REQUIRED: Add readme.txt file to keep license and credit information. Declare copyright and license explicitly. Use the license and license uri header slugs to style.css. Declare licenses of any resources included such as fonts or images.
