Let’s see how you can install this plugin on your WordPress website. Follow the steps below:
(Note: Make sure Woocommerce is installed on your website since this plugin requires it to operate)
Step 1: Open your WordPress dashboard
Step 2: Go to Plugins and click on Add Plugin
Step 3: Go to the Search Bar and search for TH Wishlist
Step 4: Install and Activate the plugin
After activation, you can find the plugin in the Dashboard menu.
General Settings
Wishlist Page – By default, the Wishlist page is selected, but if you put the shortcode to another page, you can select from here.
Require Login – When you select this box, users can’t add products to the wishlist without logging in.
Wishlist Button
Button Style – Here, you will get 4 options to show the wishlist.
Icon and Text – With this option, both the text and icon of the wishlist will appear on the page.
Icon Only (With Button Style) – This option shows only the button in the button style.
Icon Only (No Button Style) – Same as above, but without a button.
Text Only – This shows the text of the Wishlist only (no icon).
“Add to Wishlist” Text – Here you can change the text of the wishlist.
“Browse Wishlist” Text – This text is shown to redirect the users to the wishlist page, you can edit it too.
Theme Default Style – Having checked this box, the wishlist button will adopt the theme style.
Loop Setting
Loop settings is given for the Wishlist option in all pages, feature products except the single product page.
Show “Add to wishlist” in loop – Disabling this will hide the Add to Wishlist button from the products loop.
Position of “Add to wishlist” in loop – Here you can set the position of the wishlist button. There are different options given in the dropdown that you can select.
Product Page
Show “Add to wishlist” in Product Page – Checking this box will enable the wishlist button on the Single Product Page.
Position of “Add to wishlist” on product page – This will set the position of the wishlist button.
Wishlist Page
Redirect to Cart – After adding a product to the wishlist, when the product is added to the cart, it will be removed from the wishlist, and you will be redirected to the cart page.
Show Social Share Buttons – If you enable this option, users will be able to share their wishlist on social media.
Wishlist Table Columns – You can select what you want to show on the wishlist and what you don’t. Not only this, but you can rearrange the content simply by dragging it.
Style Customization
From the Style Customization, you can edit the icons and colors of the wishlist button and page.
As you can see in the image below, there are different icons that you can set as the Wishlist and Browse Wishlist icons. Moreover, you can set the color of the icon also.
Same customization settings are given for the Wishlist Page and Share Buttons. You can change the colors for the Button and Wishlist Table.
How To Integrate Wishlist To A Page
The wishlist page is automatically created when you install the wishlist plugin. But if you want to create another page or add the wish list to an existing page, then follow the steps below. To integrate the wishlist into your theme,
Open your WordPress dashboard
Open the page where you want to add the wishlist or create a new one
Copy this shortcode “[thwl_wishlist]“, and paste it into the page
Save the Page
Open the page preview, and you can see the Wishlist table.
