I made no progress on my last posted game goals, as I remain immersed in the variations of World of Warcraft. There are some excellent single player gaming experiences coming out, or they are already out, and I’ve been slowly adding to my Steam library since October. Quietly seeing what’s on sale and slinking the games into my library.

I have finally created my Dragonage: Veilguard character. After a frustrating try with an elf whose basic looks seemed ok, but whose lantern jawed, square, sharp head (I know) I couldn’t soften, I tried again with a human. Not the best, but playable, and not a block head.
I’ve only made it through the intro with my Mage, but I like how she plays, and am enjoying the world and the story and characters. The companion characters seem lively, having personalities of their own which fleshes out the world a bit. They might be too lively, as I noticed Neve the detective Mage went from being a badass fighter to having her hair down and her side eyes in full mode once we were out of danger. Zzzzz.
I have some problems with the motion making me queasy, so short sessions. I’m looking forward to seeing where my adventures take me.
