hey everyone, just wanted ot let you guys know that I just created a new community called  the_joyfulheart since the other Joyful Heart Foundation one wasn't active or maintained anymore. So if you were a member of the old one or just want to see what its about, please come join! we definately need members, and you can feel free to talk about anything related to Joyful Heart or Mariska since she's the founder. Just wanted to let everyone know about the updates on mariska.com and joyfl hearts website.
mariska.com has some events for APril's Sexual Assault Awareness month (if you live in San Diego, I emailed her some things, and they are up on her blog.) Check the blog, because thats where the updates are.
Joyful heart has added some new stuff for April. Theres a messages from Mariska about this month, awareness and education, there are some new recommendations for readings and things like that, April activities in your area, and the heartshop has added the Philosophy body wash made for joyful heart, and the new tshirt is supposed to be coming soon.
Since April is National Sexual Assault Awareness month, I urge you all to go out into your community and take part in it if you can. Universities usually have Take Back the Night rallies/walks (check with your campus, or if you have a women's resource center, thats a great place to start). Or if there aren't any in your area, you can start one! Or simply just educate yourself and others about the importance of awareness.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing a Joyful Heart Foundation tshirt?
It is a ladies large, but fits me nicely (I am about a Medium usually in tops and a 3-5 in jeans)
I bought one and my mom ended up buying me one, so now I have 2! It's never been work, its the white one (before they went unisex one size fits all)

Hi. I really want to appologize to al of those I've affected by the promo for the cacophobia community I posted. I really am sorry. I didnt realize exactly what the community was about. I'm terribly sorry. I thought it would be something that would raise self-esteem. I myself, being a rape survivor, feel genuinely sorry. I really hope I didnt have any lasting affects on anyone... I'm so sorry. I really really am sorry. I feel horrible about posting something like that here. And I now understand if you guys dont want to forgive me or anything... but I just needed to appologize... I'm sorry...

does anyone know what the blue shirt with white writing on the front that says "LOVE" that Mariska is wearing in teh first photo of joyfulheartfoundation.org slideshow 1 is for? I saw Ellen Degeneres wearing it today on her show, and would really really love to know!

Ok I was wondering if you could help me out a bit.
Has anyone ever swam with dolphins? If you want to keep it just between you and me you can e-mail me or put it on anonymous and I'll read it.
The reason why I ask is that I'm doing a reasearch paper on it and I know that dolphins can do great things. So I was just wondering if I could use your story in it.

This is a really great idea for a community...Nice Job...I agree about MH...She could just be another stuck up spoilt untalented Celeb...But she's not, I think she is a phenomenal Person, aswell as an actress...and it's refreshing to see someone trying to do good in this world :)
