This is SO belated, but our launch party for our @fableism collection at @madewithharmony was such a dream and I needed to share all about the amazing dress that @libs.makes made for it. It’s exquisite. I literally squeal every time I make it. We used the Juliette dress from Silversaga and added one inch to the neck. At the last minute Libby crafted that adorable bag too with the ruffle. TOO MUCH! Rachel from Harmony made a collection of earrings to go with our fabric too. I hadn’t worn earrings in years but it was totally worth it to work those charmers back into some non-existent holes—ha!

You all have been so good at sharing your own creations from the collection. Our team has been in awe looking at them all. We’re going to make a video of them soon so if you want to be featured, tag us so we can see them!

I’ve debated over the last while whether I would share this or not and decided that I’ve brought you along for all my life highlights over the past 17 years (!) and in a *very* roundabout way, this is one too.

I took Paul to the Utah Symphony last night because he’s loved Gustav Holst’s The Planets suite since he was a kid. The evening was beautiful. We dropped off the kids at my parents, went out to dinner, then enjoyed the intensity of Mars as the Bringer of War and the gorgeousness of Jupiter of Jollity (didn’t know that word until then but it’s definitely my new favorite). At one point he tapped me to see the grin on his face as he beat to the rhythm. He knows every inch of that suite.

This week was a big one for us as it officially marked the end of our marriage. I know most people don’t commemorate an event like that with a date to the symphony, and to be honest, we didn’t plan it this way, but I’m glad it worked out like that. We had a little cry, held each other’s hands, laughed about the irony of our situation, swapped absolutely insane stories about our rascal boys who we both love so much, and shared how we’re so grateful to be where we each are now.

While the road was rocky getting to this point, the decision was an inevitable step in our family’s journey and I am starting to feel a smoother path emerge as we’ve transitioned into friends and co-parents.

I have been completely buoyed by an amazing support system over the last while—friends, co-workers, neighbors, family, who have gone out of their way to offer their help and love. And you didn’t know it at the time, but your support of me here on the grams was felt here through the work that my team and I share. I’m convinced that I have the most supportive community on this crazy platform. ❤️
