Infrastructure Projects

Russia’s first venture capital network is an infrastructure for mass construction and sales of technology businesses in the material-based industries. Its objectives are to reduce production time and cost of companies, as well as to increase the share of commercially viable businesses from the world average of 10% to 50%.

Since the first venture-building network appeared in 2012, the construction of more than 700 product technology companies and 50 open contract technology businesses has been started. Today, the complete “development cycle” of a new technological company in any region of the world amounts 12 to 25 years. The goal of the first venture network is to reduce them to 5–7 years.

The Infrastructure Projects Management of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs forms the technological infrastructure that contributes the development of nanotechnology companies at various stages of existence. Within the framework of infrastructure development, 15 nanocentres, 10 technological engineering companies and other projects focused on the development and support of the nanoindustry in Russia have already been created.

The Federal network of nanotechnology centers is located in 11 regions of the country. Their main task is the construction and sale of product startups in the material-based industries.
