Step 1: Create a PayPal Business Account
If you have not already, start by setting up an active PayPal business account, providing necessary business details and linking your business bank account for withdrawls.

Step 2: Access PayPal Developer Dashboard
Log in to the PayPal Developer Dashboard using your existing PayPal Business account credentials. Ensure the toggle is set to “Sandbox” for testing purposes.

Step 3: Initiate App Creation
Navigate to “Apps & Credentials” in the top menu. Click on “Create App” and fill out a short form, naming your PayPal app for easy identification.

Choose between “Merchant” (for your own business) or “Platform” (for processing payments for multiple sellers) and hit “Create App” again to proceed.

Step 4: Retrieve Client ID and Secret Key
Under “Sandbox API Credentials,” locate the “Client ID” and copy the provided alphanumeric string. Also, click “Show” under the “Secret” field to reveal the Secret Key and copy it.
