Faction Identity Crisis: Why the Alliance Still Feels Like Home

I have been playing on the Horde for the last few weeks, even before I posted the last post below, but I guess I will always be an Alliance player. I miss so much of the Alliance designs in the buildings, and the areas I love to hang out in are Alliance only, so I feel out of place when I’m in them with a Tauren.

I guess there’s a reason why I have been playing Alliance for so long. I used to flip-flop back and forth from hard to Alliance back in the day when I first started, but I think it’s because I never knew where my true home was within the game. After playing the game for so many years, I have finally figured out that I am the happiest and the most comfortable with the Alliance, and that’s OK. So, I will be sticking with Alliance and fact-changing my Hunter back to Alliance.

However, I didn’t just waste money and time; I’m going to change my race that my Hunter was. It was a Night Elf for the longest time, and I’m thinking of switching him to be a Worgen.

For the past few months, I’ve been playing a Blood Elf Paladin and I don’t feel like I want to have him transferred over to the Alliance. I do have a human paladin that I’ve been playing since Cataclysm and I want to level him and get his gear up as well. He has the most progress in terms of professions and playtime that I have for a Paladin.

Now I don’t know what I’m going to do since my one-button macros have changed to Blizzard’s version. I haven’t played enough to see if Delves, which is the place though that I was doing to gear everything, is still viable. I will have to research that and play test the character for a while to figure that out.

Well I’m getting ready…

Well right now I’m going to be switching my hunter over to the alliance as I have been playing on Horde for a little bit. I might want to play my hunter during the next expansion.

I thought I wanted my druid to be my main character but I do love my hunter. So I have do think about this for a while. During the pre-patch I will be looking through my character screen to see what I don’t want to level and what I do want to invest my time in.

I know that Legion was an expansion that I didn’t realize had some much to do and if you wanted something you should just stick with one character.

Anyways I went with faction changing to a Void Elf.

Is World of Warcraft going free to play?

What I think is that is something that a lot of people have been questioning. Me, I think that this is the time that Blizzard might be looking into that direction. Some people hate the game because of the membership. Some of the people I know like the game and what it has to offer but they don’t play because of the high cost of the games membership and content. I have been playing the game for about 3-4 years I guess and at this point, all the money I have spent on the game has been worth it.

Some of the thoughts that I have been having are I wish the game went F2P (Free to Play). The only reason is that I think about this is that I’m not rich, most people aren’t. Quite a few people can’t enjoy this game, mostly because of the cost of membership and content expansion packs.

These helmets below are the start of micro transaction is my guess. I would never buy one of these because they cost so much. I have one only because I great friend offered to buy one for me and I thanks him (Chris Stone). You might have remembered me interviewing him on his drawings.

Blizzard helms

Anyways, back to the topic. With these micro transactions I think blizzard is going to implement them all over the game, well that’s what I’m guessing. I hope to see more cheaper alternatives to these helms Also gear sets. Is blizzard is going the way that Jagex did with RuneScape and their Micro transactions, I would be happy playing the game. Maybe spending some money on the amour sets. That’s if they come out with armor sets in the Blizzard store. Well What do you think? Leave your opinion in the comments below. Thanks.

Realm Transferring

Well this topic is because of the sale that has been on for about a week. I like the idea that you can transfer your character to a new realm. Sometimes that is a great thing. Not saying that the price is really nice but just the idea for people to be able to transfer their character over to a new realm. Some people never do this and some people do this all the time. I find my self wanting to do this a lot but the price is the issue. Today I got to transfer my Paladin over to the realm Hyjal. I have been wanting to transfer my character out of the realm Dentarg for a really long time. The reason, people. What I mean by that is the people on the realm are really rude, so rude that I don’t want to play the game because of them. I don’t pay to have rude people around me. I wish that the transfer service was free or a low cost and payable with a prepaid game card. Well I just wanted to post this quick post for you guys. Thanks for reading and see you next post. I hope to post more over the summer.
