Anoop Kumar

Dr.Anoop Verma is working as Assistant Professor at School of Energy and Environment, Thapar University, Patiala, India.  He received his M. Tech. (Environment) as well as PhD from Thapar University, Patiala, India.  Dr. Anoop Verma has 15 years of experience in the field of wastewater treatment using novel composite materials incorporating dual effects. Present emphasis is on designing the pilot-scale reactors for tackling the environmental problems like water disinfection, removal of pesticides from water, Antibiotics degradation found in drinking water. The research in this area has also been focused on using waste materials for environment remediation. Work is also going on with a concept of waste to products especially from food waste.
