(*) Work is hectic and stressful at the moment. And in the evening I don't really have the nerves left to do much.

(*) I've bought myself an e-reader (Sony) as stress relief. I must say it works. I keep downloading fanfiction of AO3, it's just so handy.

(*) I miss reccing. I want to get back to it, but it's exhausting. I don't know how I've ever managed to do it regularly.

(*) That said I enjoy mementis's rec enormously. They really have a style I love. I read their recs even when I'm not really into that fandom.

(*) I've started re-watching Band of Brothers. Surprise!Fassbender and surprise!McAvoy! And Kirk Acevedo whom I know through Fringe. I recognized him by his voice.

My pledge? I promise to make something handmade for the first 5 people who comment on this post.

The catch? You must then post this on your own LJ/FB/Twitter (wherever you like) and make something for the first 5 people who comment on it.

The rules? Items must be handmade* by you and the recipients must receive them before the end of 2012. So what are you waiting for?

*when it says handmade, it doesn't have to be anything major like a chest of drawers. It can be anything as simple as some graphics (if you don't want to give out your address), or a card, or origami, crafts, sewing, knitting, food related, anything at all.

I'll probably make cards and/write letters or create a rec-set catered to your wishes.

I hope it gets cooler soon. 26°C (~ 80°F) is far too high for the beginning of october. Seems the weather changes soon though. *hopes*
