The traditional Japanese "chanko" is a flavorful dish beloved by sumo wrestlers. Made with carefully selected fresh ingredients and a special broth, this hearty hot pot is a dish that warms both the body and the soul.

About Tenryou

"Tenryou" refers to the lands directly governed by the Tokugawa shogunate during the Edo period. These include historic areas in Tokyo, such as "Ryogoku," the birthplace of chanko and considered the sacred ground of sumo, and "Uchikanda," where the first izakayas are said to have been established during the Edo period. With the intention of honoring the roots of our signature dish, "chanko," and traditional izakaya cuisine, we named our establishment "Tenryou®." We hope to provide a place where guests can experience the warmth and comfort of Tokyo’s rich cultural heritage, embracing the spirit of old Japan.
