Why TELME?
Six reasons to choose TELME.
1
Two degrees. One programme.
You graduate with two national Master’s degrees — one from each of your host universities — co-branded by all 5 TELME institutions and recognised across Europe under the Bologna Process.
2
EU scholarship — highly selective
The Programme awards circa 12 full EU scholarships per cohort (€1,400/month for 24 months), selected from hundreds applicants. Not selected? National, bilateral and private funding can cover your fees. See all options →
3
6 language tracks. You choose.
English+French, English+Spanish, English+German — or French+Spanish, German+French, German+Spanish. Six mobility pathways, each combining 2 partner universities in 2 different countries.
4
A multilingual profile employers want
You graduate certified in at least two languages at B2+ level. This multilingual profile opens doors at the British Council, Alliance Française, UN agencies, universities and more worldwide.
5
Real research from day one
Every TELME student contributes to a live, open-access cohort research project — a different theme each year, co-supervised by faculty from all 5 universities. You become a researcher before you graduate.
6
A global cohort, a lifelong network
The 2026 cohort brought together 23 students from 19 nationalities — selected from 410 applicants across 6 continents. Your classmates are your future colleagues from day one.
Funding your studies
EU scholarship or self-funded — we support both.
The Programme awards circa 12 full scholarships per cohort — a highly competitive process. If you are not selected, many national, bilateral and private programmes can cover part or all of your fees. Full insurance is included for all students at no extra cost.
