This animal study evaluated the healing of supraspinatus tendon tears by use of a cartilage-deriv... more This animal study evaluated the healing of supraspinatus tendon tears by use of a cartilage-derived morphogenetic protein 2 growth factor (CDMP-2) delivered to the repair. Forty-eight rats had bilateral, surgically created complete tears repaired by sutures with the growth factor introduced on one side. They were killed at 2, 3, 4, and 6 weeks, and the strength of the repairs was determined and histologic analysis performed. At 4 and 6 weeks, the CDMP-2-treated repairs were significantly stronger than the untreated repairs and histologic analysis showed more organized healing. The use of growth factors introduced at the time of rotator cuff repair might promote more rapid healing and subsequent, rapid patient rehabilitation.

The consequences of this war and the desire of Sultan Selim I caused him to try to draw a hypothetical line of strategic alliance with political methods so that the Safavid government could not resist the Ottoman troops in the next war. Sultan Selim's correspondence with some of the rulers of the lands around the Safavid rule was done with the aim of creating an internal front of the Safavid opposition while using their support power in delivering food and supplies to the troops. One of these letters was written to the ruler of Mazandaran, which Abdolhossein Navai has quoted in his book "Historical Documents and Correspondence of Shah Ismail Safavid" quoting the book "Monsha'at Al-salatin Fereydon Beig". This study was conducted with the aim of reading and analyzing the letter of Sultan Selim to the ruler of Mazandaran and examining the situation of Iran and Mazandaran in this period. The main question was who was the addressee of this letter in Mazandaran at the time of writing? The hypothesis based on this question was that the addressee of this letter was "Agha Mohammad Rooz-afzoon", one of the local rulers of Mazandaran. This research was conducted by historical and descriptive-analytical method and by library study tools. The results of this study showed that for reasons such as: 1-The history of the Rooz-afzoon family in relation to supra-regional powers and hostility to the Safavids, 2-The political method and actions of Agha Mohammad in dealing with the Safavids, 3-The conflicts of the Safavids with Agha Mohammad 4-Agha Mohammad's relationship with the rebel ruler of Gilan)Amira Dabbaj(, the addressee of the letter can most likely be considered Agha Mohammad Rooz-Afzon.

In this article, the authors will introduce Lefork Sav... more A sign of Scythian art in Savadkuh Review: In this article, the authors will introduce Lefork Savadkuh Cemetery and one of the graves and artifacts obtained from this cemetery. The aim of this study is to introduce evidence of an ethnic migration in the late Iron Age from the plains of Central Asia to the fertile areas south of the Caspian Sea and its forested foothills. The research method is based on the results of two chapters of the author's excavation in this cemetery along with library resources. As a result of this study, based on physical anthropological studies, the type of burial and index objects obtained are determined. . Keywords: Iron Age III, Lefork Cemetery, Savadkuh, Mazandaran.
The silverware works of the Sassanid period have their own significance not only for their techno... more The silverware works of the Sassanid period have their own significance not only for their technological components but also because their archaeological distribution reveals how this craft was very important during the Sasanian period. Their geographical distribution from the interior and exterior territory of the Sasanians Empire also shows the degree of the influence of Sasanian art. These metal works are made in different forms and unique designs, which mostly include images of royal hunting, banquets, faces and torsos of officials, animal and mythical motifs. Mazandaran was one of the important areas for making silver vessels during this period and even years after the collapse of the Sassanian Empire. The dishes introduced in this article are from the latest silver plates obtained from Mazandaran. They are unique in terms of motifs and themes. We compare these findings with other silver works found in the other parts of Iran.
در این مقاله نویسندگان به معرفی و بررسی منازل مسکونی عصرآهن (550- 1500 پ.م) بدست آمده از کاوش های... more در این مقاله نویسندگان به معرفی و بررسی منازل مسکونی عصرآهن (550- 1500 پ.م) بدست آمده از کاوش های باستان شناسی شمال ایران و مقایسه آن با معماری بومی مناطق روستایی مازندران پرداخته اند و به نوع ساخت و موارد تشابه ساخت منازل مسکونی از هزاران سال پیش تاکنون اشاره خواهند کرد. هدف از این پژوهش شناسایی بهتر آثار معماری منازل مسکونی بدست آمده از کاوش های باستان شناسی مازندران و مقایسه آن با معماری بومی در مناطق روستایی می باشد. روش پژوهش به کار گرفته شده بر اساس مطالعات و کاوش های باستانشاسی و بررسی میدانی روستایی به همراه منابع کتابخانه ایی می باشد. در نتیجه این پژوهش مشخص گردید که معماری بومی روستایی مازندران هزاران سال بدون تغییری محسوس در نوع ساخت و پلان تداوم داشته است و برای درک بهتر از آثار معماری بدست آمده از کاوش های باستان شناسی مقایسه آن با مساکن روستایی موجود در منطقه اجتناب ناپذیر می باشد. واژگان کلیدی: مساکن روستایی، عصرآهن، باستان شناسی، مازندران.
