Christian & Syed - Info Dates
After introducing Christian Clarke and Syed Masood, I’m posting here the most important dates and happenings of their lives. I took it from the Eastenders BBC site and added a lot more.
Hopefully I will be completing it with more info as soon I’m able to know what’s going on with the soap opera.

Syed and Amira get married – Zainab makes Syed go on with the marriage even thou he tells her that he loves Christian. Christian is heartbroken (again). And so does Syed.

Christian is shocked to discover “Syed Loves Christian” written on the walls of Syed and Amira’s flat. That was Lucy’s work to make Syed decide to tell the true.

The truth comes out when Amira reveals his and Syed’s relationship at the Masood family party, after discovering the writing in the wall. Syed confirms and Qadim, Amira’s father, tries to beat him up. The Masood throw Christian out of their house. Syed accuses Christian of leaving him with only ashes and rejects him in front of everyone.

Christian is beaten up by Qadim and two associates at Syed and Amira’s flat after not finding Syed (he left Walford). Masood doesn’t help a hurting Christian when he asks for help.
30 Apr 2010
Jane finds Christian unconscious in his apartment. She calls an ambulance – he has a couple of broken ribs and a mild concussion. Masood finds out that Zainab knew about Syed and Christian before the wedding.

While Christian is recovering in the hospital, Masood gets fed up with Zainab attitude and throw her in the street with a suitcase. It’s raining, it’s night and someone give’s Zainab a hand. It’s Syed.

Zainab is cleaning her clothes in the laundry and he doesn’t want Syed’s help, even when he insists. Syed go talks to Masood to forgive her, promising he wants to do the right thing and that Christian is in the past and he will not see him or talk to him. Yet, when Tamwar tells him that Christian got beat up he gets worried and torn with his feelings.

In the next day, Syed meet Christian and after a moment of hesitation, ignores him. Christian is disgusted. Masood decides to give his family a chance, calling Syed on his promise from earlier, he wants all to live together as a family again. But Syed, after hearing from Tamwar that it was Amira’s father that hurt Christian, goes to his flat to apologise. Christian is unforgiving and calls him a coward, telling him that don’t want to ever see Syed again. Syed almost cries and to get things worst, their parents see him at Christian’s door, breaking the promise he made to Masood. He’s not allowed to get home again, hurting even more to be turn away from his parents.

Masood and Tamwar think that Zainab is making Syed’s favourite food for him somehow, but it’s for Nadim and Bushra. They inform them that there are people that don’t accept Syed’s homosexuality and are not hiring the Masala Queen because of it. Masood ignores Syed on the street. Zainab makes Tamwar change the family picture, erasing Syed and Amira from it. He only does that after talking to Syed, His brother tells him to do what their mother asked. He just wants the good for his family. Tamwar stands up against his mother, telling he will always be by his brother’s side.

The Masood parents are still ignoring Syed, although Masood is starting to change his mind after talking to Jane. Tamwar looks for his brother while walking out with Kamil and they talk. He keeps telling Tam to do what their mother says. Goes looking for a job – he’s mocked and humiliated by Janine first and then Roxy is crossed with him in the Vic, in Christian’s presence. Syed is getting desperate. Masood is getting tired of Zainab’s constant anger and decides to travel to USA with Jane.

Syed tries to kill himself with vodka and pills after being rejected by everyone. Masood gives up from travelling and after knowing what happened in the mosque he goes in search of his son, finding him pass out in the apartment. He takes Syed to the hospital with Ian’s help. Christian gets mad at Roxy after she tells him that he told Syed to get away. Masood is worried about Syed and feels guilty. Christian searchs for Syed but he’s not home and does not answer the phone. At the hospital Zainab sees Christian call on Syed’s phone and tells his groggy and barely awake son that she would rather see him dead than being gay and in love with Christian. Tamwar and Masood are stunned by what they hear.

Masood asks Zainab to leave and then Syed tells him to go to her because she needs him. Christian knows about Syed and lives a date on the Vic to go the hospital. He sees Syed and Tamwar fooling with each other and don’t go to him. Zainab is ashamed about Syed attempt of suicide. Masood wants to get Syed home. Zainab throws his clothes on the street. Christian and Zainab have a hot change of words. When they return from the hospital, Syed sees Christian with another man (Alex) and Zainab sets fire to Syed clothes and marriage photo album.

Syed is in his flat and Tam wants his brother to get home. Syed is going to get out of the flat ‘cause it’s been rented to someone else, he will be leaving. Tam says his father Syed doesn’t get out and is not sleeping well. Masood gives Syed’s favourite jacket back to him after mending it. He wants him back home.

Masood makes Zainab apologise to Syed so that he goes back home. (It’s been a week since the hospital scene). Syed finally agrees to go home although he still resents her words. She denies him a hug.

Zainab treats Syed with coldness. She and Masood are suspecting his actions, after he hides his search in the pc and a phone call. Masood sees him with a man are they are devastated.

Syed asks Tamwar for advice about the man, Alan – he’s gona ‘cure’ him from his feelings. He introduce him to his parents. Tam is worried and tells Syed he just should be himself and that their parents should love him just like he is. Syed blames himself for braking their family and will do anything to make them well again. Tam and Masood think that it’s not gonna work, but Zainab wants to believe and so does Syed.
