Hopefully, the people in this community wouldn't be the type of people to be obnoxious, but I must say that general rules of course do apply. Don't violate LJ TOS, don't post huge pictures without a cut (although I don't know what you'd be posting pics of anyway,) don't insult people based on anything but not liking Jon Stewart &/or The Daily Show, etc.
