7:03 pm - 1995 Camaro, $1800 or Best Offer!

I need to sell my car ASAP. Less than 90,000 miles. Needs a new transmission, but that won't set you back more than $1200. Should be able to get one at $1000. Total, you'd be spending tops $3000, and she's Blue-Booked around $3500. Great running condition otherwise. A few cosmetic flaws, but nothing tragic by any means. She's a heavy car that wants to be good to you. Tallahassee, 32304.

5:58 am - Art Classes at TCC
|

I did some browsing and couldn't find any related posts, so hopefully there aren't any.
I want to take some art classes to pretty much learn all the fine points of painting I do not know. I'm pretty much just self-taught and working off of innate creativity and talent. So, I'm looking for recommendations on what classes to take and with which professors. Any help, would be awesome. Also, any info on drawing classes, would be great too. I'm just not happy with the descriptions the course catalog feeds us, so I'm looking for an art student's perspective. Thanks much. <3

11:18 am - Easy class?
|

I am going to be done this summer, and in order to fulfill my residency requirement, I have one more elective that I need to take.
I'm going to be taking three courses this summer as well as working a full-time job and a part-time job, so I'm basically looking for something entitled The Easiest Course Ever. It can be either a web course or anything after 6.
So pretty pretty please if someone knows of an easy-ish course that doesn't take a lot of time, PLEASE let me know.
If anyone else wants info on easy classes, I'd have to say that Western Civ/EUH1000 (web) with Dr. Mock (and assumedly EUH1001, which I'll be taking this summer) is incredibly easy as long as you do the chapter quizzes, and Intro to Educational Technology (web) with Mona Hamilton (EME2040 I think) is ridiculously easy.

2:09 pm - Because Enrollment Services, Student Success Center, and other various administration at TCC...

Apparently know nothing.
I went to FSU today to take a CLEP for TCC. I took the "College Mathematics" which lists itself as MGF 1106 & 1107.
Took it, passed it, hooray, was confused that apparently with CLEPs you actually get college credit (I thought it was just a bypass to the requirement, so I was pleasantly surprised).
So on the CLEP sheet I was given, it says that for passing it, I'm supposed to get 6 semester hours, though that seems ridiculously awesome to me. Like, too ridiculous to be true, though I asked some people who all shrugged and said, "I guess..."
So I called TCC, and apparently according to the woman who sounded like she MIGHT know what she was talking about, I only get credit for MGF 1106. If this is true, how would I get CLEP credit for 1107, or is that even possible? There's only one "College Mathematics" test and I already passed it...
Anyone? Anyone..?

7:31 pm - I Have a Sublease Available!
|

Hey everyone!
I need to sublease my apartment as soon as possible. My boyfriend and I have decided to move in together and I really can't pay rent at 2 places!
Its off High Road, its called Osceola Ridge Suites. They're really nice and huge! You'd have your own entrance, bedroom, office, bathroom, and kitchenette as well as a shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. Washer and dryer brand new and included. I really like this apartment, but unfortunately I don't think there would be enough room to have my messy boyfriend living with me instead!
The rent is $495 a month and all utilities are never more than $70. Cable and internet are included.
Please let me know if you are interested by e-mail at [email protected] or just leave me a comment! Thanks!!

What online classes are there where you don't have to actually go to TCC for any of it?
Introduction to Educational Technology, for instance, everything is completely online. But then there's a Biology class and an English class where you have to go take tests or write papers in person, or check in with your teacher. If I wanted to do that, I'd take in-person classes.

We get grades today, right? I'm assuming we just have to log into Eaglenet and click on "grades" but this term isn't up there yet. Is there a specific time they will show up?
Sorry, I'm kinda freaking out here. I want my graaaaades.
EDIT What! May 1st? This is just cruelty.

I found out last night that my living plans for next year are most likely not going to happen. This is a sad fact but, like a good soldier, I'm moving on.
Anyone else looking around for next year?
About me -
~ 21 ~ Female. ~ Part time student. ~ Crisis counselor part time. ~ I have two cats and a dog. ~ I'm looking to hopefully live in a house, with a fenced in backyard. ~ I have a quirk in that I really like my own space, so maybe we could find something with more than one bathroom. ~ I come equipped with living room furniture, dishes, and even an extra fridge.
If you're interested, leave a comment and I'll either IM or e-mail you and we can talk.

7:23 am - GPA averaging

At TCC, do we earn grades of A, B, C, D, and F, or do we have all the + and -? Is there a differentiation in GPA points between an A-, an A, and an A+?
