10:10 pm - For every new item that comes into my home, I'm trying to find a new home for an existing item...

vardocargo
I currently have a number of things (jeans, dresses, skirts, etc) posted on eBay, including plus sized and vintage items. Nearly everything (with the exception of two velvet dresses and a steel boned corset) is starting under $10. Please do take a peek. I definitely combine ship and all items are coming from a smoke-free home.

On to the auctions!

6:57 pm - blog plug

maggotstatues
Myself and the other folks at the Book House in Dinkytown, Minneapolis, MN would like to invite you all to check out our "found in a book" journal. We've got a few items up at the moment, and a couple decades worth of material waiting to be posted. We hope to have around 2-3 updates per week, with scans and as much background info as we can get (book title, etc).

Pictures, notes, and other interesting detritus that have found their way into our store, secreted away between pages.

x-posted to a couple other similar journals.

9:25 pm - Holiday best....

vardocargo
In a shameless display of brazen huckstering, I wanted to post a mention of my current eBay auctions. I have a bunch of Holiday and party-appropriate dresses, jackets, and the like up for bid, including:

-a couple of Stop Staring dresses
-vintage delights
-a number of plus-sized pieces
-a TON of velvet.

Among the standouts are a vintage 1950s opera coat, a black velvet Victorian style blouse, and a cobalt blue crushed velvet tuxedo jacket.

Also, if your tastes run to the retro and you have the itch to stitch, I have a number of vintage patterns in my Etsy shop that will keep you busy all through the winter months!

Thank you in advance for looking and helping to make my December just a bit more merry!

10:55 am - Double (Full size) bed with Shabby Chic headboard

sugarbeet

I have a Double bed for sale with a Shabby Chic headboard. The headboard is in great shape and is all wood with some nice carvings. It is currently painted a lavender color, but you can easily paint it any color you want to match your decor.

The bed is in excellent condition and comes with the mattress, the box spring and a metal frame that bolts up to the headboard. The bed was bought less than 5 years for use only as a guest bed. I paid about $500 for the bed, not counting the headboard. The bed had been stored in my basement for about 2 years under a dust cover, so it actually has very little use. It has only been kept in a smoke free environment and had no stains or mildew smell.

I am asking just $250.00 or best offer for everything. Cash only please. I am only willing to sell everything as a set. Please reply via e-mail if you are interested or have any questions. Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the Metro area.

12:34 pm - Yarn For Sale Cheap !! (St. Louis Park)

lamialilitu

I've been going through my stash and I've got all this yarn that I just don't have room for anymore. For only 10$ you get all of it! There are some really fun fibers in here and some of it is wound into balls, so there is more there than appears. I think the cone in the middle alone is a pound. Preference given to who can pick it up the soonest. Must take it all - no picking through it :) Email me for directions, etc..

12:32 pm - Vintage Thermador electric range - $500 Or Best Offer!

sugarbeet

I am selling my vintage Thermador electric range. This thing works great but it no longer fits in lookswise with the rest of the kitchen after a recent remodel. It uses a standard 220V 3wire plug. It is white in color and has a stainless steel top with four burners and work area. It also has two drawers for storage and a warming drawer, which I believe still works. The oven and all four burners work but I don't think the clock works. I don't recall for sure.

It also has an unpolarized electric outlet on the top. This worked great for my eclectic frier as the stainless work surface would not get damaged like a counter would and was a snap to clean up. It comes with two oven racks and I will even through in a broiler pan if you want. The photos were taken this summer, right before I started work on the kitchen. I LOVED this stove and I wouldn't be selling it if not for the kitchen remodel.

As you can see from the photos, it is clean and is in great shape. I am asking $500, but I will consider any other offer. If you have questions, want to see larger photos or see it in person, please let me know.

11:40 pm - Free refrigerator

luno
It's an ordinary, full-sized, stand-up kitchen fridge. It's almond. It has a freezer on top and a fridge just where you'd expect one to be. It has been rinsed out with bleach and it works. It has reversible doors which currently open from the left. There's not much else to say.

It's in Fridley, and free if you can pick it up. If you want me to deliver it, I could probably be persuaded, but it would at least involve $20 for gas money.

xposted to tc_thriftstore and twincitythrift. If nobody replies by Sunday, it's going on Craigslist.
