As a general rule, I despise predictive text on my mobile. One of the first things I do with a phone is figure out how to turn it off.

However, there's a site devoted to AutoCorrect errors on the iPhone, and I am crying with laughter at some of these. Clearly, whoever wrote the dictionary for Apple was a complete perv. :D Damn You Auto Correct!

Unrelatedly, I spoke with my boss this morning, gave the short 'n sweet version, and he signed off on my leave days, so I am getting the whole long Easter + Royal Wedding/bank holiday stretch off work. Ahhhhh.

I just figured out how to access the extra punctuation on my mobile; I have been without since I managed to turn off the predictive text mode (*hate* that). I'm so excited: I HAVE MY SEMI-COLONS BACK!!!

Ahem. Yes. I do use semi-colons in text messages. Bite me. :P

England is eight hours ahead of California. There is something absurd and insanely exciting about being in the midst of puttering around with breakfast/make-up/clothes/etc. to get ready for work and receiving a text message that tells you that at this very moment in Oakland, there's a Mike, a Tré, a Billie Joe and a couple of Jasons on a stage together, with instruments. I don't think I can adequately explain how happy that makes me. ♥

In case anyone wasn't aware, I will not be taking my cell phone with me. The mother will be inheriting it as of Thursday morning. Therefore, please do not text message me after tomorrow as I will not get it (and she doesn't know how to text so you will piss her off). I'll be basically incommunicado that way until I get a new phone in England and get it set up, and I don't actually know how long that will take. I'll still be checking my email fairly regularly, though.
