I work with three guys named Mark, and I was actually talking to all of them today b/c IT rearranged some stuff without advance notice and I was like, Dude, where are my files? The database temporarily disappeared! It was unsettling, lol. Plz to be giving notice of such shenanigans in the future.

Mondays and Thursdays appear to be the days when Solent University has early classes. Aka, those are the days when the park I walk through to go to work is jammed full of teenagers. Who don't have to wear a school uniform anymore, but jeans + hoodie + messenger bag appears to be the unofficial version thereof anyway. Still skinny jeans, too. I knew classes were starting this week - there were groups of inebriated people in matching T-shirts wandering around last week, thereby cluing me in that that was frosh (freshers?) week - but I'm kind of amused by how the population of people walking in that area probably about quintupled on those two mornings.

There was more I was going to post about, but it's dribbled out of my head. I've just realised that October 18th is really not very far away, though. Almost Dirty Pretty Things time! Wow. My whole year is going like that: buy a ticket for some far-off event and then holy shit, it's time for that already! lol
