Towards Autonomous Robotic Systems Proceedings

It contains 32 full papers and 4 short papers, together with 4 invited papers presented in these volumes were carefully reviewed and selected from 74 submissions. The papers were categorised into seven groups: Human-Robot Interaction and Teleoperation, Sensing and Perception, Locomotion and Control, Manipulation and Dexterous Interaction, Software Engineering for Robotics, Underwater Robotics and Autonomy, Aerial Robotics and Path Planning, and Challenging Environments.
Key Dates
TAROS 2025 had a large number of abstract submissions, and we are grateful to all authors. The PC is shortly going to start their work based on those abstracts. We will, however, leave the system open, and colleagues who want to submit a paper will be able to do so until the deadline, even if they did not submit an abstract.

Travel Update
Due to the Ebor Festival (approx. 11:00–18:00), many of the buses from the university will terminate at Rougier Street rather than the York Rail Station. This may affect travel to The Milner tomorrow. Please allow for extra time and check your stop before travelling.

We are pleased to announce our invited speakers for TAROS 2025: Dejanira Araiza Illan, Yiannis Demiris, Sabine Hauert Thierry Lecomte, Jon Timmis, Rich Walker, Lucy Wheeler and Kaiqiang Zhang.
Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their papers to a special issue of Elsevier’s Robotics and Autonomous Systems journal dedicated to TAROS 2025.
