This guide is meant for anyone who may be new to using the library. We're here to help!
The newest addition of the library, the 24 Hour Zone is accessible from Texan Trace, and can be accessed with your Texan Card with the swipe system at the entrance when Library Services are closed. This entry point is also known as the Texan Trace Entrance.

The main lobby for the 24 Hour Zone. There is comfortable seating on this floor, with easy access to the vending room, and a stairway that leads up to the Second Floor in the 24 Hour Zone with more study spaces, and the Quiet Zone.

The Circulation desk is where you can ask for help and also check out materials!
There is lounge seating to the right of the lobby, and study spots with a busy view.
Tarleton Libraries offer clusters of computer workstations and open seating to support both group collaboration and private study. For more study spaces see the Study Spaces below.
The Multipurpose room equipped with a computer, microphones, projector, and smartboard. Student organizations can reserve the multipurpose room for meetings and events.
We have reservable collaboration rooms, Presentation Practices Rooms that you can book online or by calling the Circulation Desk.
Need to print off your homework? The library has printing stations on all three floors. This is the Printing station 1, next to the Collaboration rooms and has both B/W and Color Printing stations. Printing Help
The Tech Spot can help you resolve technical challenges!
The Library Training Center is an instruction space equipped with 32 computers. Teachers often book library instruction sessions in this room.
Use your Texan Card to check out a laptop from our laptop vending machines. Machines are located on the first and Second floors. Power cords available for checkout at the circulation desk if needed.
When you need a librarian in person, stop by the reference desk to get help with your research! And if you keep going forward, you will see the 24 Hour Zone.
Two elevators are available, One is in the 24 Hour zone, and here by the circulation desk. Provides access to all three levels of the library (Basement, Main Floor, Second Floor).
The workstations and study spaces here are good for small groups. The children's literature collection is along the back wall, along with Periodicals. The Training and Learning Center is on this floor right of the stairs and elevator when you enter this space. Last is the Curriculum Resource Room, see the next slide for more information
The Curriculum Resource Room contains teacher & student edition textbooks, anatomical models, die cuts, and a special book scanner.
On the wall behind the laptop vending machine, personable lockers are available. Check out a key at the circulation desk for a semester at a time.
Second floor - The general stacks includes most of our book collection. Ask at either the circulation or reference desk if you need assistance locating a book on the shelf!
