Electronic dissemination of digital information has benefited from recent advancements in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and dissemination of Islamic digital content in different formats has taken advantage of this rapid progress in technology. Information is available in many formats and on many different applications and devices. However, the online availability of such resources on Qur'an and its sciences is very limited. In this work, digital Qur'an resources available from authentic sources will be used to formulate strategies on how to extract, format, present and make these resources available for researchers in a centralized knowledgebase. The methodology starts with collecting these authentic electronic Islamic resources. Next, resources are classified into their main categories, sub-categories and related categories. Then, the list of metadata for each type of resource is developed. Following this, strategies for efficient dissemination for the different types of digital resources are developed; depending on the format of the files, the metadata is extracted automatically, if possible, otherwise data is entered manually into the knowledgebase. Therefore, the manual entry of data into the knowledgebase for resources having poor or lacking metadata would efficiently help researchers to easily locate the resources they are searching for. Developing these strategies for each type of format could efficiently help in the search process. From the data collected so far, the amount of data gathered shows that books contribute to the highest number of resources available in this area followed by post graduate dissertations, conference papers and journal papers respectively. Finally, efficient dissemination of electronic information will help researchers access, explore and disseminate quality research in Qur'anic studies.

Big data technologies is an evolving term that describes the variety of techniques for searching, collecting, processing, analysing, and storing a large amount of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data that can be mined for information. This is certainly the case for Islamic resources and materials that are widely available as structured, mainly unstructured and unrelated information on the web, this can be referred to as Islamic big data. The study of the behaviour of deep traps in AIxGal_xAs/n-GaAs multi-quantum well structures with three different well widths (1.7, 2.5 and 3.4 nm) has been performed using deep level transient spectroscopy. The measurements showed the presence of two closely spaced levels in each structure in the temperature range 160 to 270 K. It was found that as the GaAs well width increased, the apparent activation energies and the concentrations of both levels decreased. It is seen that in the 1.7 nm well samples, the lower temperature level is dominant, but in the 2.4 and 3.4 nm welt samples, both levels were comparable in concentration.

This paper describes the development of a Ubiquitous learning System (ULS) based on adaptive media streaming techniques. Abstract-This paper presents the design and development of an authoring system for creating and building an application program for an eBook package, or an eBook portfolio, that would include metadata, meta-content, and other related materials and resources that are stored in a dedicated database. This system is basically a digitization process of the different phases of eBook authoring and development, as well as a structure collection of various types of content and information in a form of hypertext documents, multimedia, and presentations. These last years the stochastic modeling became essential in financial risk management related to the ownership and valuation of financial products such as assets, options and bonds. This paper presents a contribution to the modeling of stochastic risks in finance by using both extensions of tail dependence coefficients and extremal dependance structures based on copulas. In particular, we show that when the stochastic behavior of a set of risks can be modeled by a multivariate extremal process a corresponding form of the underlying copula describing theirdependence is determined. Moreover a new tail dependence measure is proposed and properties of this measure are established.

In this article, we present an approach which allows taking into account the effect of extreme values in the modeling of financial asset returns and in the valorisation of associated options. Specifically, the marginal distribution of asset returns is modelled by a mixture of two Gaussian distributions. Moreover, we model the joint dependence structure of the returns using a copula function, the extremal one, which is suitable for our financial data, particularly the extreme values copulas. Applications are made on the Atos and Dassault Systems actions of the CAC40 index. Monte Carlo method is used to compute the values of some equity options such as the call on maximum, the call on minimum, the digital option, and the spreads option with the basket (Atos, Dassault systems) as underlying.
