2025年1月、下井草駅前に「焼鳥日高」がオープン。気になりつつも年末も近くなった今日、ようやく初訪問だ。
平日11時半ごろの店内は空いており、奥の二人用テーブル席へ。注文は他店同様タブレット式で迷うことはない。
下井草店の特徴は「豚骨ラーメン」(580円)があること。正午を過ぎると、その注文が次々と入っていた。
まずは定番の「ウォッカソーダ割り」(310円)と「生キャベツ(味噌マヨ)」(190円)。この味噌マヨはやはり鉄板で、初訪問でも安心の旨さだ。
続いて「もつ煮込み」(270円)とおかわりのソーダ割り。
焼き物は「かわ(塩)2本 辛味噌付」(270円)。左手で串を持ち、右手の箸で具を外し、辛味噌を絡めて食べるのが自分流。旨さに「追加辛味噌」(50円)も頼み、「シロ(塩)2本 辛味噌付」(270円)までしっかり堪能した。
塩焼き×辛味噌は、「焼鳥日高」での大きな楽しみなのだ。
約1時間半でお会計は1,980円。PayPayで支払い、ごちそうさま。
…とはいえ、昼呑みはここで終わらない。2軒隣の「日高屋」へ。
「ソーダ割り」(300円)と「半ラーメン」(240円)で、さっと〆る。提供も早く、30分ほどで満足完了。こちらもPayPay払いで540円。
焼鳥日高で飲み、日高屋で軽く〆る。この流れが徒歩圏内で完結するのは本当にありがたい。
家の近くに「焼鳥日高」ができた喜びを、しみじみ噛みしめました。
