Located about a 5-minute walk from Tobitakyu Station on the Keio Line, this French fry specialty shop is situated near the North Gate inside Ajinomoto Stadium.
They serve freshly fried potatoes topped with gravy sauce, presented in a large paper cup. You can eat them with your hands, but they are more suited for a fork.
You might wonder what gravy sauce is. It’s a sauce made by mixing the juices (fat) that come from roasting beef, steak, or chicken with flour to thicken it.
Not all fries are served with gravy sauce, though. They also offer options like honey and consomme.
Since most people bring these in to enjoy while watching the game, there’s quite a line before the match starts and during halftime. However, they serve quickly, so the turnover is fast, usually around 5 to 6 minutes of waiting.

French fries with Genovese sauce
JPY 850, tax included
This is stadium pricing, about the cost of a set meal. Given the generous portion, this price is reasonable.
Genovese sauce is made from basil, pine nuts, and olive oil, typically used for pasta. This version included bacon and fried cherry tomatoes, adding a nice salty flavor from the bacon!
While walking with my fries, I overheard someone say, "That looks delicious!" as they glanced at my snack.
Even from a distance, they look appetizing. In today’s Instagram era, having good visuals is essential. When someone sees another person enjoying their food, it creates a desire to try it themselves, leading to more lines at the shop. I was influenced and ended up waiting in line too.
As for the taste, the oil-based sauce makes some of the fries a bit moist, while the parts without sauce remain crispy. They aren’t served piping hot, just warm enough to eat comfortably.
Overall, the fries aren’t heavily salted, so the ones at the bottom taste purely of potato. And that’s quite nice too… ( °▽°)%
I thoroughly enjoyed this stadium snack.
It was a great meal!
