The place for Italian cuisine in Sengawa!
I had only visited for lunch before, but this was my first time dining here for dinner.
The lunch menu includes a great-value selection of pasta and pizza, accompanied by a drink bar, salad, and soup. However, dinner doesn’t feature any set menus but offers more appetizers and other options not available at lunch.
This time, I ordered the Pescatore and Gnocchi with a Four Cheese Sauce. I believe the Pescatore wasn’t on the lunch menu, so it was my first time trying it. The Gnocchi was on the lunch menu and was delicious when I had it during a previous visit, so I definitely recommend it!
The Pescatore surprised me with its impressive presentation! The seafood was abundant and packed with flavor. While there was a hint of tomato flavor, the dish was mainly focused on the light seafood broth, making it refreshing.
The pasta was slightly thicker than usual, giving it a delightful chewy texture, and there was a generous portion, ensuring a filling meal!
This restaurant never gets dull, no matter how many times I visit. Next time I come for dinner, I plan to order something other than the main dish as well! ^_^
My favorite Italian lunch in Sengawa
I visited this Italian restaurant close to the station, which I had been curious about.
First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful and very clean.
Pastas are around JPY 1500, and pizzas are around JPY 2000, which seemed reasonable, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it included a salad, soup, and a drink bar!
Both the salad and soup were delicious, and the drink bar had an impressive selection. I was already moved before the main course even arrived.
This time, I ordered a pizza, and the crust was on the thinner side—just enough for one person to enjoy a whole pie.
The flavor was amazing!
I highly recommend this spot for a casual Italian lunch.
I'm curious about the other menu items, so I will definitely visit again. It’s worth coming back!

It's been a while since I visited Tavernetta Salvatore.
This was my second time for dinner, and I noticed that the à la carte options have increased compared to lunch, with a great selection of appetizers.
This time, I ordered octopus carpaccio, cheese gnocchi, pescatore, and fresh oysters.
- **Octopus Carpaccio**
It had a very stylish presentation, and the taste was equally sophisticated. I can't quite describe it, but it was refreshing and delightful.
- **Cheese Gnocchi**
I had this during my previous lunch visit and decided to repeat it. The rich cheese sauce is incredibly thick, and the chewy gnocchi clings to it perfectly. Although it may look like a small portion, it is quite filling. The cheese sauce includes a pungent blue cheese, adding a wonderful aroma. Cheese lovers should definitely try this at least once!
- **Pescatore**
This was ordered by my companion, but I had it last time. I don't know if the recipe has been improved, but it tasted completely different and much better than before! It was topped with a generous amount of shrimp, shellfish, and crab, and the pasta absorbed the delicious seafood broth, making it incredibly tasty. The base is likely tomato-flavored, but it has become richer compared to my last visit, which I personally prefer! It was fantastic! I plan to order this next time.
After a long absence, I noticed various changes in the menu and flavors. The prices are a bit on the luxurious side, but I will definitely return.
